Sartorius' in-house cell line development (CLD) service began as a small start-up, Cellca GmbH, in 2005 and has improved over many years to become one of the leading technologies on the market. Sartorius research fellow, Christoph Zehe, joined Cellca in 2007, and that is where he established a leading platform technology for the generation of high-expressing cell lines. Here, he walks us through the evolution of this CLD technology.
