Vented Closures for NALGENE Sterile Disposable Flasks

ROCHESTER, NY, February 2004 – Due to popular demand, vented closures are now available for all NALGENE sterile disposable flasks. The vented closures, made of HDPE, feature a 0.2mm hydrophobic PTFE membrane that provides sterile gas exchange for shaker and suspension cell culture. NALGENE closures fit all NALGENE sterile disposable flasks, and are available in two sizes. Catalog number 4114-0038 is designed for 125ml and 250ml sterile disposable flasks, while catalog number 4114-0045 fits NALGENE 500ml, 1000ml and 2000ml sterile disposable flasks. The closures are individually bagged and gamma irradiated, and are available in cases of 12.
