INTEGRA Biosciences Launches Its Most Sustainable ECO Racks Yet

INTEGRA Biosciences has introduced newly evolved ECO rack GRIPTIPS® pipette tips, which are now translucent rather than fully pigmented, making the recycled material more suitable for a wider range of new products. At the same time, the ECO rack range is gradually transitioning to recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET), further reducing the need for virgin plastics and helping to close material loops. Labs can continue to rely on all the proven benefits of ECO racks – GRIPTIPS® pipette tips are handled exactly as before – ensuring existing liquid handling workflows can carry on without disruption.
Beyond material selection, INTEGRA has also considered how much space the racks occupy after use. Empty racks can be stacked and compressed, significantly reducing their footprint before recycling. This helps laboratories to maximize the available space in their recycling containers, and keep busy workspaces clutter free. The racks are recommended for use with the ECO base, providing an improved tip loading experience and a convenient solution for laboratories using GRIPTIPS pipette tips. With translucent inserts, an ongoing transition to rPET and space-saving design features of the ECO rack range, INTEGRA continues to help labs make their liquid handling workflows more sustainable.
