Streck Adds Instrument To Glucose Linearity Assay
Omaha, NE - Streck's patented Sugar-Chex® Linearity, the only whole blood glucose linearity product on the market, is now assayed for the LifeScan One Touch® Ultra 2 meter.
Sugar-Chex Linearity verifies the linear range of glucose monitors to assure accuracy of the meter's published range. Unlike other glucose linearity products, Sugar-Chex Linearity effectively replicates the physical and functional attributes of whole blood and eliminates matrix effects that negatively impact accuracy and precision. It is available with five or six levels to test the lowest extremes of the meter and is packaged in convenient 2.0ml dropper vials. Sugar-Chex Linearity offers an open-vial stability of 30 days and a closed-vial stability of 145 days. Sugar-Chex Linearity is also assayed for the LifeScan OneTouch® Basic, Sure Step Pro®, Sure Step® Flexx, Roche Diagnostics Accu-check® Advantage, Bayer Healthcare Ascencia® CONTOUR®, MediSense® Precision PCx™ and the Precision PCx 2.2.1™ meters.U.S. Patent 7,390,663
