Spotfire DecisionSites to accelerate decision-making functions
Offers pre-configured eAnalytic applications for enterprise value chains
Spotfire® (Cambridge, MA), a leading provider of web-based eAnalytic applications and services, delivers a wide breadth of capabilities for use across enterprise value chains through pre-configured eAnalytic applications. Spotfire DecisionSite for Functional Genomics, Spotfire DecisionSite Map Interaction Services, Spotfire DecisionSite for Lead Discovery, and Spotfire DecisionSite for Process Analysis are pre-configured eAnalytic applications that include domain specific data access and analytics, role-based information interaction, and specific task guides. Spotfire DecisionSite 6.2 (see companion press release) allows users to pre-configure an unlimited number of eAnalytic applications that automate decision-making activities across enterprise value chains.
Each pre-configured DecisionSite application maximizes the speed of deployment and adoption of a specific eAnalytic application for making decisions in research, product development, manufacturing, and other business functions. Using the fastest, most productive user experience to access, analyze, and interact with the volumes of data generated within and across enterprise value chain functions, end users in pharmaceuticals, energy/oil and gas, and manufacturing companies can quickly and easily make decisions using the pre-configured DecisionSite applications.
"Our decision making involves people from different disciplines as well as complex data from many different sources," said Dr. Rainer Fuchs, Senior Director, Research Informatics, Biogen, Inc. "Our ability to deliver and succeed is greatly enhanced with DecisionSite through a common user experience and a flexible, configurable eAnalytic environment enabling the interaction of people, process and data."
"Our lab is using microarray technology to identify gene copy number fluctuations in cancer genomes and using this information to identify regions containing undiscovered tumor suppressors and oncogenes, as well as identifying diagnostic and prognostic indicators," said Dr. Robert Lucito, Assistant Professor at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. "Spotfire DecisionSite lets us analyze new data sources in flexible ways to support our research and let us focus on the biology."
"Spotfire DecisionSite addresses this need for data access, information interaction, and analytics across organizations by providing a configurable application that delves deeply into industry-specific, technical data through a dynamic user-friendly interface," said David Butler, Vice President, Product Strategy and Marketing for Spotfire. "With each configured application, the end-user is empowered to make the breakthrough decisions that promote an organization's growth."
