Revolutionary new NVision™ Packaging Bottles from NALGENE® combine clarity and chemical resistance
The newest addition to the NALGENE® line of packaging products, NVision Packaging Bottles are constructed of a clear polypropylene co-polymer resin that meets elevated chemical resistance standards. This breakthrough allows for a high-quality packaging bottle that lets users see what's inside without compromising the integrity of the contents.
"The key to the NVision Packaging Bottle line is the new resin," said George Sprague, Director of Marketing for NALGENE. "With it we can make bottles that match the chemical resistance that our products have always offered, with the clarity our customers have been requesting."
NVision Packaging Bottles are available with a breakthrough HDPE tamper-evident closure system. It features a tear-away ring that stays on the bottle when the cap is removed. Once closed, the bottle cannot be opened without leaving the ring behind. Customers can order bottles with the proven-leakproof NALGENE valve seal, a lined closure, or a lined closure with a foil induction seal, all with the tamper-evident closure. The standard NALGENE valve seal closure is also available without the tamper-evident feature. NALGENE NVision Packaging Bottles all have 15% headspace, and are available in 125 mL, 500 mL, 1 L, and 2 L sizes. Tamper-evident closures are available with 125 mL, 500 mL, and 1 L bottles.
"The new tamper-evident closures represent an important advance in reagent packaging," said Rick Haggerty, Product Manager, NALGENE containers. "Our customers can have the confidence of seeing – and knowing – that the products they distribute in NVision Packaging Bottles will arrive pure and uncompromised."
NVision bottles are available either sterile or non-sterile. The narrow mouth provides no-drip pouring, and is ideal for packaging and shipping liquids. NVision bottles and closures are packed separately in bulk. The materials used to manufacture the NVision Packaging Bottles and closures meet current bio-pharm regulatory standards such as USP Class VI, non-cytotoxic and non-pyrogenic. In addition, all materials comply with FDA food-grade regulations for food and beverage use. The sterile NALGENE NVision Packaging Bottles provide a 10-6 sterility assurance level. The bottles are manufactured in the USA in an ISO 13485 registered facility.
