New BAS epsilon chromatographic instruments include the BAS 200e, shown above, an integrated system with broad temperature control applications ranging from 10° to 60°C. This is the first BAS instrument with precisely controlled temperature from subambient to above ambient. The lower end benefits chiral separations and temperature-labile compounds, while the higher ranges can assist post-column reactions or effect changes in the separation without modifying the mobile phase. The entire system can maintain anaerobic conditions for oxygen-sensitive applications such as separations of easily oxidized compounds, or electrochemical reductions.

The BAS500e is a modular LC system based on a new pumping module also present in the BAS 200e. The pump offers enhanced performance at low flow rates (µL/min) in a package that is smaller and lighter.
