Grand-opening festivities included a ribbon-cutting and tours of the building, which includes two laboratory spaces, office areas, and a seminar room. Guests also learned about LECO's new High Resolution TOFMS (HRT) products from Separation Science team member Jürgen Wendt. Other highlights included talks by LECO collaborators Wim Traag, with RIKLIT-Institute of Food Safety, and Hans-Gerd Janssen, with Unilever Research and Development and the University of Amsterdam. Michael Soll, General Manager of LECO Instrumente GmbH, and Ralf Löscher, Vice President of LECO Europe, provided closing comments. For details on the ribbon cutting ceremony click here (PDF).
