Adventurer Balance
The company designed the balance to provide today's laboratories with a reliable solution for a variety of needs including basic weighing, environmental testing, plant pathology and forensic testing. A suitable balance for a wide range of laboratory applications, Adventurer offers 17 different weighing modes including grams, kilograms, milligrams, ounces, mommes, (3) taels and parts counting. Its simple three-button operation and large LCD display combine to make the balance easy to use and eliminate the need for extensive operator training.
Calibration is also a snap, just place a weight on the pan, press a button and the balance does the rest. To tare, just place a container on the pan, push a button to reset the display to zero and add the sample. Large left and right tare buttons facilitate easy left or right-handed operation.
The balance offers a standard RS232 interface, which facilitates easy communication with computers and other peripheral devices. The integrated weigh-below hook simplifies below-balance-weighing applications including density determination, and an ergonomic leveling system makes setup easy.
Engineered to stand up to rugged use, the balance features a durable contoured base, a contoured top and spill gutters to direct spills away from the display. The product's sealed one-piece function label is easy to clean and protects internal components from harm.
The balance is available in capacities ranging from 150g to 4100g and readabilities from 1 mg to 0.1g. 150g and 310g models come equipped with a glass draft shield.
