There are three principal components in each therapeutic area:
- Summaries and Evaluations
- in-depth analysis and evaluative reports on the significant articles of the month
- over 600 new Summaries are written every month
- summaries of all randomised controlled trials of drug treatments, including those only reported as abstracts
- Literature Review - a comprehensively indexed and cross-referenced bibliographic report of all published articles in a given therapeutic area: each citation gives paper title, authors' names, and the name, page numbers and issue date of the publishing journal.
- Perspectives - an overview of the most important and interesting studies summarised during the current month: includes brief updates on research and development drugs, and relevant market news, highlights from meetings or a special report on a topical area (available in all groupware formats, and in print).
