QbD: A Framework For Improved Decision Making Throughout Drug Development3/10/2016A frequent complaint of process engineers tasked with implementing quality by design (QbD) is the lack of information provided by their upstream development teams. For QbD to be implemented efficiently, at least 80% of the knowledge needed for process development must be generated in the R&D phase and transferred downstream.
Amy Lachapelle
Amy Lachapelle created the protein characterization group at GlycoSolutions. Her primary focus was to develop the analytical technologies for a wide range of applications and to work directly with clients to develop and streamline analytical strategies for product characterization. Amy also acquired a wealth of knowledge during her years at Genzyme. There she assisted with the feasibility study of a protein replacement therapy for cystic fibrosis and was involved in the R&D initiative for gene therapy projects.
