Enables High-Throughput Lipid-Associated Enzyme Assays
Boston, MA -- NEN Life Science Products has introduced an ultra-efficient new platform for high-throughput radiometric enzyme assays with lipid-associated substrates. The patented Phospholipid FlashPlate" PLUS offering is far easier to use and more cost-effective than traditional assays where organic extraction is required, and provides more reproducible and dependable results.

The new Phospholipid FlashPlate PLUS is a scintillant-coated, 96-well microplate which uses patented technology to enable the attachment of lipid substrates to the FlashPlate surface, providing a biologically natural environment for the substrate to bind. This allows for the quantitative and qualitative determination of the activity of various enzymes that act on membrane-bound substrates, without the need for organic extraction.
