This system can automatically handle a wide range of tasks, such as dispensing antigen or antibodies, coating microplates with EIA reagents, as well as washing after coating or an ELISA assay. The ALCS-2000 can accommodate up to four washers or pipettors, (two each), which allows for maximum flexibility. Either reagent containers or source plates can be used to supply solution to the washer heads or pipettors. 120 microplates can be pre-loaded in the removable cassettes. Microplates are indexed 6 at a time for processing. The average cycle time is 4-6 seconds per microplate.
