Fixed Wavelength Flowthrough Detector

The Model 254/280 UV Monitor is a fixed wavelength flow-through detector engineered for use in chromatography. It features a dual beam optical system that allows for the automatic subtraction of a solvent background, even in the presence of a rapidly changing gradient. In addition, an autozero allows the user to zero the baseline at any time. This is also a great convenience when setting up the separation. It eliminates the frustration caused switching ranges attempting to find the baseline.

The monitor comes complete with filters for operation at 254 and 280 nm plus a standard flowcell with 5mm path length for both the measuring and reference flow path. An HPLC and a prep flow cell is also available. It is compact and light which allows it to be mounted next to the column convenient to the fluid path. A bracket is standard that makes mounting on an instrument rod simple.
