Reactive Intermediates from Maybridge

Source: Maybridge Ltd.
Building on over 40 years expertise in a wide range of heterocyclic chemistry, our aim is to provide the ultimate CombiChem toolbox for synthetic chemists in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and agrochemical industries.
The CombiChem unit synthesises and supplies monomers and polyfunctional templates for use in combinatorial library preparation and general organic synthesis. Our facilities include over 1000 square metres of laboratory space supported by 100L pilot plant facilities, allowing us to manufacture seamlessly across the g to multi Kg scale. Building on over 40 years expertise in a wide range of heterocyclic chemistry, our aim is to provide the ultimate CombiChem toolbox for synthetic chemists in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and agrochemical industries. Our two main product groups are complementary in their applications.

Reactive Intermediates are a unique range of clean, minimally substituted compounds specifically designed for the preparation of diverse hit generation libraries and for hit-to-lead development, allowing exploration of the widest possible range of diversity space. These sets of compounds provide both structural and functional diversity. Structural diversity is assured because our unique collection of heterocyclic and aromatic ring systems is designed to exhibit diverse ring structures, drug-like characteristics, and availability of structural and regioisomers. The sets are also designed with minimal substitution to allow easier interpretation of SAR in lead development. Functional diversity is assured because our array of functional groups is designed to include the most important nucleophiles, and important electrophiles.

Maybridge Organics are organic building blocks with greater substitution for general organic synthesis and combinatorial lead optimisation. This collection comprises over 5000 monomers and templates with exceptionally diverse structure, substitution and functionality. These compounds allow exploration of hits provided from the reactive intermediate collection by providing molecules with similar core structures, but with a range of substituents which modify their physiochemical properties. They thus serve as useful building blocks in lead optimisation, allowing the chemist to probe diversity space around a prior hit.

All of our products undergo extensive and rigorous quality assurance prior to dispatch. Structural confirmation is conducted using NMR, IR and MS. Purity is assayed by two independent techniques where possible using such methods as GC, HPLC and autotitration. Specification is 97%+ unless otherwise stated.

Data on all our products are available online at our website, on CD-ROM, and in our Reactive Intermediate and Maybridge Organic folders. These media are regularly updated, allowing you to keep in touch with our rapidly expanding programme of new product introduction.
