Packard BioScience Company Position Dispense Module (MPD) is now available on the PlateTrak and MiniTrak automated microplate-processing systems for processing into 96-, 384-, 864-, and 1536- well applications. Capable of traveling in X, Y, and Z directions, 96- and 384-channel dispense heads enable precision pipetting of volumes from 0.5 to 750 µL.
The module is capable of variable positioning of the dispense head in the X, Y, and Z axis with a positional accuracy of +/- x.xx/y.yy (mm). The dispense head moves across a multiposition grid deck, which extends the accessible stations on the conveyor path, providing deck positions for additional capabilities. The versatility and flexibility of the module accommodates a variety of applications, specifically plate replication, reformatting, reagent addition, cell based assays and DNA purification preparation for genomics and/or proteomics.
