Hydrogen Generator

Chrysalis Gas Generators produce hydrogen at delivery pressures up to 200 psi, making them suitable for use with Fast GC. The generators are virtually maintenance free and employ a palladium purifier instead of conventional desiccant cartridges to remove water and impurities. The palladium purifier requires no maintenance or regeneration, and is guaranteed for the life of the generator.

Deionized water is the only liquid necessary for operation. By eliminating caustic electrolytes, the generators also eliminate the associated handling and disposal problems. A built-in funnel makes it easy to add water. For applications requiring continuous use, an automatic filler option can be attached to a deionized water supply.

The high purity hydrogen produced by the generators is suitable for use as a carrier gas in GC or for use as a fuel gas with FID, FPD, and other detectors. The generators produce hydrogen with less than 1 ppm water and oxygen, and less than 1 ppb hydrocarbons.

Two models are available. The 300cc model can supply up to 5 GCs simultaneously; the 600cc model can supply up to 10 GCs. Both the 300cc and 600cc units are only 9-in wide to save valuable bench space. A simple front mounted LED panel controls the operation and all settings for the Chrysalis Generators.
