The IPLab Elispot Imager is a high throughput image analysis system that reads 96-well microtiter plates, images each well with a CCD camera, and records colony/object counts and statistics. This system reads all brands of 96-well microtiter plates and provides computer-controlled, automatic image capture and analysis.
This user-configurable system can scan and analyze a plate in minutes, and has analytical parameters that can be scripted for run-to-run reproducibility. The components of this machine include: dual illumination fiber optics, a magnifying close-up lens with side-arm fiber optic illumination, a high-precision X-Y stage, a camera stand, and a joystick for setting up different varieties of plates and analyzing individually selected wells.
