The high-performance Gradient Prep System was designed to automate the basic requirements for semi-preparative and preparative HPLC at an affordable cost. With the combination of two dual-piston Prep 100 pumps, the system is capable of isocratic (200 mL/min) and (linear) binary gradient (100 mL/min) operation.

The Prep 100 pumps have a maximum operating pressure of 4000 psi and include patented pulse dampers to deliver flows with low pulsation. Sample introduction is accomplished using a Series II 10-mL pump. The prep pumps are paused during injection. All pumps include a 3-year warranty, ensuring reliability over time. The system includes a Model 500 UV Prep Detector equipped with a variable-pathlength SS/Kel-Rez prep flow cell.

At the heart of the system is a smart compact keypad unit that provides complete control of solvent delivery, sample injection, isocratic/gradient program, run duration, four time-configurable TTL events, and number of repeating cycles.

An optional FC I Prep Fraction Collector completes the system. This system is compatible with any data system that is capable of collecting analog signals from the detector. The company also offers prep columns and data handling systems.
