Prism is a data analysis software suite that combines basic biostatistics, curve-fitting, and scientific graphing in one package. The software provides organized data entry, with data tables that are constructed so that related data sets are side-by-side. Columns are clearly labeled for entry of replicated values, SD, or SEM.
The system calculates linear and nonlinear regression, and basic statistical tests, including t tests, one- and two-way ANOVA, and non-parametric comparisons. It also analyzes contingency tables and survival curves. Additional features of the system include clear tables, instant graphs, automatic error bars, and efficient analysis of repeated experiments. The software is compatible for both PC and Mac systems.
